What order sizes do you work with?
Our core clients typically place orders between $1,000 and $20,000, though product complexity matters more than order value. We are especially well suited to small and mid-sized orders that large sourcing firms often overlook.
Do you add a hidden margin to factory prices?
No. Our model is built around transparent project and service fees. Factory cost, inspection, handling, freight, and the FairDock fee are shown separately whenever practical.
Can I pay the supplier directly?
Yes, and that is often the preferred arrangement. FairDock can verify payment details and coordinate milestones while you pay the supplier directly. If a project requires a different structure, it will be agreed in writing first.
Can you guarantee product quality?
No sourcing partner can honestly guarantee every unit. We reduce risk through clear specifications, approved samples, production controls, and inspection evidence. Inspection scope and acceptance standards are agreed before work begins.
Do you handle customs clearance?
We coordinate quotes and documentation with qualified freight and customs partners. FairDock is a sourcing and logistics coordinator, not a customs broker, carrier, or legal advisor.
How long does supplier sourcing take?
A standard supplier comparison usually takes 3–7 business days after we receive a complete brief. Product development, custom tooling, regulated goods, and seasonal capacity can require more time.
Which products do you not handle?
We generally decline counterfeit goods, controlled substances, food, supplements, medical devices, hazardous materials, and projects where required certifications or intellectual-property rights are unclear.
How do you protect confidential product and supplier information?
We use project information only to scope and deliver the requested work, share it only with people needed to complete that work, and can review a reasonable NDA before receiving sensitive designs or commercial details.
